Dear Deacon Nguyen,

Transformation—A marked change in form, nature, or appearance.

Have you heard? Did you get the memo...or rather the letter?
Share the Mission Spirit this Easter
Maryknoll Fathers Conroy, Fedora and Bauer are transforming the lives of the people in Cambodia, Peru and Kenya respectively! And they did it through the power of the Resurrected Christ and the love of our brothers and sisters in mission.

That's you!

As Catholics, we become that butterfly escaping the cocoon every Easter. Every prayer said, every word of encouragement given, and every gift toward mission becomes a treasure that transforms us more and more to Jesus' nature. The love of God is in us.

So, go ahead. Open the letter. Respond to this e-mail. Transform the lives of those less fortunate with our Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers. You'll really be transforming yours.

Prayer for Easter

With fear and trembling
We approach the grave of our shattered dreams.
Who will roll back the stone of ignorance?

O God, the tomb is empty!
What can this mean? Who has done this?
Where is the One in whom alone our hearts find rest?

Tears blur Mary Magdalene's vision.
Sorrow closes her mind to the miracle
Standing as a stranger before her.

Speak, O Risen Lord, our name,
Like you once spoke Mary's to her
When all creation gasped
As eternal darkness bowed to everlasting dawn.

Amen, alleluia!
